MACHETE KILLS Trailer

In a recent interview with Movie Hole, Danny Trejo revealed that Star Trek's Zoe Saldana is part of the cast of Robert Rodriguez' Machete Kills. Here's what he had to say when he was talking about the film:
The sequel to Machete, Machete Kills is going to be a lot more over-the-top than Machete. We’ve got Sofia Vergara, who is a star in her own right, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, and Zoe Saldana – and guess what? I get to kiss all of ‘em.

'Machete Kills' - which is scheduled to begin shooting in Texas soon - will see Cortez aim to stop Mel Gibson's villain from firing a missile.
As well as looking forward to reprising his role in the film, Danny is also hoping to land a part in Robert's forthcoming 'Sin City' sequel.

When asked if he would like to star in 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For', he joked to Moviehole: ''I better, if [Rodriguez] wants to do 'Machete 3'.

We here at In Genre couldn’t get enough of the adventures of Machete, the Mexican hit man with a heart of gold that spun off from the Grindhouse movie trailers. A sequel is now in the works, Machete Kills, and the confirmed cast keeps growing: According to Variety, Machete (Danny Trejo) will be traveling  south of the border to stop an arms leader (Mel Gibson) from launching a deadly missile. Also attached are Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sofia Vergara.

Machete Kills has already firmed up most of the original cast including Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez along with a new villain played by Mel Gibson and some new ladies in the form of Amber Heard and Sofia Vergara. It promises to be a lot of fun, with the titular hero now working for the U.S. government and trying to prevent an all-out war from a deranged billionaire arms dealer (Gibson) and a cartel leader who plan to use a space weapon to spread terror across the world. Surely there will be much more ridiculous action and gratuitous violence and rampant nudity.
